A creator of patterns from the time I could hold a pencil. I can’t draw but I can doodle like a boss. My family is littered with artists, and I grew up with creativity all around me. My Mother’s house was a melting pot of fabulous, eccentric people, from writers to glass blowers, I was destined to follow a creative path.
My professional life has always been as asymmetrical as my childhood, with stints as a glass artist, teacher, accidental flipper of property and even a checkout chick at the local hardware store. I always knew I wanted to design patterns, but never realised it was a thing that you could transition into a career. Pattern design is my absolute favourite thing to do and I will always do it, even when nobody is watching.
