I was obsessed with painting and drawing from a very early age and only ever wanted to be an artist when I grew up. After finishing a Fine Art degree, I decided I needed a more practical application of those skills and discovered the wonderful world of Textile Design. I’ve now been working as a Textile Designer and Illustrator for more than a decade and still love it. I work from a home studio in the Blue Mountains, I’m inspired by Australian flora and fauna. All my designs start with a painting or drawing and are then converted to a digital file to create repeats and colour variations.
