Colour Management

Colour Management is essentially the way in which a colour is translated from a digital file to a physical print. You have different inputs such as photograpyh, hand painting and scanning or creating a file in Photoshop how you manage these inputs will impact the final print outcome

How to Manage Colour

Always create a file to Next State file set-up and saving recommendations
Sample before printing a bulk order so you can see colour and adjust where needed
You can print a PANTONE colour chart on the fabric of your choice in our range, and select colours from the chart to use in print artwork.

Tips

What you see on screen will not be an exact match to a printed textile
Screens can show subtle contrast and high saturation due to the light source of a digital device, a textile can not always translate these features
Digital textile printing is excellent for producing lots of different colours, fine details and photographic effects.
