I’m an ex-political advisor who found salvation and happiness through reinvention as a self-taught indie surface pattern designer. Nature, folklore and a wild, counter-cultural upbringing in the hills behind Byron Bay are my constant inspirations. A combination of watercolour, ink work and textural overlays gives my designs a rich, organic, hand-drawn feel. By mixing influences and giving an off-beat twist to on-trend themes my goal is to convey sense of delight, wonder and movement.
