I’m Lauren. Australian illustrator, designer and maker of many handmade things for my handmade brand Thistle and Fox. I’m a slave to my imagination, my pencils, watercolours, my sewing machine and my love for animals. By day I’m a vet nurse. By night I’m drawing, sewing, designing and taking care of everything in front of and behind the scenes at Thistle and Fox. I work from my home studio in the Orara Valley on the Mid North Coast, NSW. Here I sketch, paint, design, sew and tend a growing collection of plants and of course my animals, Toby (my foxie dog) my horse Will, and my rabbits, Thistle and Pascal.
