Angelique is a self-taught artist and is the face behind ‘Stitch n Sketch’. What started out as hobby from home making artwork and embroidery for children’s rooms quickly developed into a passion for print and surface pattern design.
With a love of colour and illustration, Angelique’s creative process begins with pen or paint brush combining fine art with prints and pattern design focusing mainly on the children’s market. She regularly works between the sketchbook and the computer screen – transforming original artwork into digital print-ready patterns.
Angelique is inspired by all things nature and is drawn to bright and playful pattern designs featuring wildlife, florals and food!
