Designer Profile

Art and design have been a common thread for me. I have worked as an Art teacher and Commercial Interior Designer. My love of surface design really is an extension of this love of art and design. It’s a place where I can combine both my hand drawing and computer skills to create unique repeat patterns for printing onto textiles and paper. Drawing upon nature constantly for inspiration, I love making textures using various media by hand, as well as illustrating realistically. I’m always on the lookout for that interesting shape/colour combination which is just screaming out to be put into the spot light. Print design allows me to bring a little bit of that magic I find in nature into a world for others to enjoy.
