This versatile fabric is excellent for use in the home for cushions, banners, curtains, domestic upholstery, play mats and other home applications. For accessories you can’t go past Panama Canvas, it is excellent for backpacks, beach bags and totes. A popular fabric among our artist friends, it is perfect for stretching over frames.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The Panama Canvas is woven from organically grown cotton and the bleaching process to whiten the fabric is completed with Organically certified dyes. A thick strong fabric that has the subtle texture of a canvas weave. The fabric is heavy and feels durable like a traditional canvas.
Each roll of fabric can have subtle variation in appearance and print translation. Natural fabrics may contain imperfections such as slubbing and yarn variation; These are characteristic of fibres derived from seeds and plants.
CARE
Dry clean only using hydrocarbons (perc free).
Our care instructions are a general recommendation, depending on your print and product you may need to carry out your own testing.
Panama can shrink up to 2% on the warp and weft of the fabric.
