Organza is a sheer fabric that is tightly woven and holds structure when shaped to form volume. The printing is vibrant and an extra dimension to the fabric is added through a surface sheen providing an opulent sparkle. Perfect for fashion garments, Organza creates dramatic gathers, pleats and ruffles. Organza is popular for artworks, when printing large format images on the Organza they present an airy and ethereal aesthetic when hanging.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Organza is a delicate fabric and care needs to be taken in cutting, sewing, and washing to avoid fraying and snags, Always use sharp scissors and a fine needle.
Organza produces excellent print results with dynamic colour and ink penetration through the fabric. you can layer Organza on top of its self and see through to the below layer. Our Organza is extremely light weight and transparent allowing the print to be double sided. While the fabric is light weight the yarn is strong and very smooth to touch.
Being light weight Organza can move around in the printing process and can impact a design that is linear if it shifts off the grain. This can occur in the printing of Organza and is worth consideration in print design.
Each roll of fabric can have subtle variation in appearance and print translation.
CARE
Cold delicate machine or hand wash, turn inside out to protect print. Recommend using a laundry bag in a washing machine. Line dry in shade or flat. Cool tumble dry. Do not iron, light steaming can be used to remove creases. Dry Cleanable.

Shrinkage can occur at less than 2% on the warp and weft of the fabric.
