Use Nova for..
Nova is perfect for fashion and accessories. The front of the fabric is a satin weave which produces rich colours and bright prints while the back is a cotton to wear against the skin.
Perfect for tops, dresses, pajamas and lounge wear, Nova is a lovely fabric to sew with and it has a gentle drape and is stable enough to handle soft tailoring.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Nova is a special technical textile woven for digital printing. The satin weave on the front of the fabric has a surface lustre that adds extra glamour to the print area. The back of the fabric is woven with cotton which is soft and breathable. It is a midweight fabric suitable for year-round wear. The satin weave provides drape while the cotton backing gives a bit more structure to the fabric which means construction details in sewing can be both soft and fluid or hold form.
CARE
Cold delicate machine wash individually or with like textiles, turn inside out to protect print. Do not soak, wring or bleach. Line dry in shade or flat. Cool tumble dry. Iron on reverse on low setting, do not iron print, can use steam.
Our care instructions are a general recommendation, depending on your print and product you may need to carry out your own testing. Nova can shrink up to 3% on the warp and 2% on the weft of the fabric.
