Eco Drill

Eco Drill is partially comprised of recycled yarn. Cotton waste fabric has been converted, via fine shredding, back into a fibre state. The recycled fibres are then combined with virgin organic cotton fibres and spun into a yarn. Eco Drill is a natural base colour which means it has avoided extra bleaching process to further reduce the consumption of water in the manufacture of this fabric. Eco Drill has been tightly woven and presents the classic angle weave finish of a drill, this provides a nice drape and fabric strength.

Due to the nature of a natural base colour, the print will appear differently on the fabric to what you see on screen, and we recommend you consider test printing designs.

Each roll of fabric can have subtle variation in appearance and print translation. Natural fabrics may contain imperfections such as slubbing and yarn variation; These are characteristic of fibres derived from seeds and plants.

For best care we recommend cold gentle machine wash individually or with like garments, use quality laundry liquid/powder, wash inside out to protect print. Do not soak, wring, rub, bleach or tumble. Dry flat or on hanger. Warm iron on reverse side. Dry clean using Hydrocarbon (perc free).

Our care instructions are a general recommendation, depending on your print and product you may need to carry out your own testing.

Drill can shrink up to 5% on the warp and weft of the fabric. If you are washing larger lengths of fabric or very dark prints, hand washing is recommended.

Eco Drill is woven in Pakistan, printing and finishing is completed by us in Australia

The recycled fibres are made from pre-consumer cotton textile scraps.

The Organic Cotton fibres in Eco Drill are from Cotton Crops grown under Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) certification
