Crepe

Crepe is a plain weave fabric in which the yarns are slightly puckered to create a textured surface, this texture adds an elegant dimension to print designs. The fabric is tightly woven and strong yet has soft hand feel and heavy drape. Polyester Crepe is an excellent, durable, and affordable substitute for a silk crepe. The Next State Crepe has been specially sourced for its quality and high fashion appearance. The fabric has a crisp white base colour. Being lightweight Crepe can move around in the printing process and can impact a design that is linear if it shifts off the grain. This can occur in the printing of Crepe and is worth consideration in print design. Each roll of fabric can have subtle variation in appearance and print translation.

Cold delicate machine or hand wash, turn inside out to protect print. Recommend using a laundry bag in a washing machine. Line dry in shade or flat. Cool tumble dry. Do not iron, light steaming can be used to remove creases. Dry Cleanable. Our care instructions are a general recommendation, depending on your print and product you may need to carry out your own testing. Shrinkage can occur at less than 2% on the warp and weft of the fabric.
